Built by many generations of artists living in the Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque and Art Nouveau times, fortunate to survive unscathed the ravages of war, Kracow never fails to attract and amaze millions of tourists. Every visitor to Kracow should see Eurpoe´s largest medieval market square, St Mary´s Church with its Gothic pentaptych altarpiece carved in limewood, the Wawel with the royal castle and the cathedral with its Renaissance chapel, the medieval university building of Collegium Maius with its unique collection of astronomical instruments.
